She ranked first among all C-USA freshman in scoring (14.1), field goal percentage (.467) and steals per game (2.6). ![]() ![]() Hubbard also became the first Florida Atlantic student-athlete to be tabbed Freshman of the Year. She also landed second in the conference in rebounds per game, grabbing an average of 7.5 per contest. She ranked first in C-USA in field goal percentage (.494), including 13 games shooting at least 50 percent. Jenkins led the league and ranked 12 th nationally in scoring (21.1), finishing with 612 total points on the season and breaking the UTSA single season program record. Middle Tennessee’s Rick Insell and UTEP’s Kevin Baker claim Co-Coach of the Year honors. Florida Atlantic’s Aniya Hubbard, who won five Freshman of the Week awards this season, is the league’s Freshman of the Year. UTSA’s Jordyn Jenkins became the first Roadrunner student-athlete to be named Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
